AGILITY TITLES CCDAC, INC. MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEES

All committees shall consist of a Chairperson(s) and a Board Liaison (who may or may not be the same person) and any club members electing to serve on the committee for the calendar year. All committees will have duties and responsibilities as determined by the board and/or the general membership, including reporting to the Board the activities and progress of the committee.

AWARDS:
The awards committee shall be responsible for the acquisition and distribution of club member awards for the calendar year, according to data submitted by each club member. It is not the responsibility of the awards committee to determine the authenticity of information provided by the club member.
The committee shall have available at the winter general membership meeting any and all awards to be distributed to club members for that calendar year and provide a written report of said awards.

EQUIPMENT:
The equipment committee shall have the responsibility of the inventory of all club equipment, including a written description of the equipment and its eligibility' for various events. (USDAA, AKC, NADAC, etc). The equipment committee shall determine the status of replacement, repair and purchase of equipment on behalf of the club, providing a written request to the Board of Directors for approval of the purchase of new equipment and the cost of same.
The equipment committee, in addition to maintaining the inventory of dub equipment, shall be responsible for the proper storage and maintenance of said equipment

EVENTS PLANNING:
This committee functions to assist the various Show Chairpersons for dub trials, organization of fun matches, seminars and other club sponsored events.

MEMBERSHIP:
The committee shall be responsible for extending an official welcome to all individuals upon joining CCDAC. Said committee shall be responsible for developing a 'welcome" package for new members and distribution of same in addition to any other club materials determined to be a club membership benefit.

NEWSLETTER/COMMUNICATIONS:
This committee will work losely with the Board to provide a timely club publication. It is anticipated that a newsletter will be provided to the members once a month, or at least 11 times per year. Committee members should have some computer or word processing knowledge, or be able to serve as "reporters" and provide articles or other items for publication.
