*********Info about a different breed of dog you'll see at the State Fair **********

Where will we be at the fairgrounds
The event will be in the North Riding Arena.  This is building #7 on the map.  Crating is available in stalls in the pole barn adjacent to the arena (see paw print on map).  Exhibitor parking is also indicated on the map.
This link is a map of the grounds

Where do we get in?
Exhibitors must use the C-Lot entrance off of 8 Mile Road (see map)

If additional people come with me, and I didn't get a pass for them, can I pay at the gate?
No.  The exhibitor gate will not sell passes.  The general public cannot use this entrance.  All exhibitors and guests must have an advance purchase pass.

What's the crating like?
The pole barn consists of horse stalls available for crating.  The doors of the barn will be left open for ventilation.  There are a total of 30 stalls available, so some sharing may have to occur.  If you wish, you may lock your stall (bring your own lock).  Electricity is available.

Is there an 'exercise' area for the dogs?
A small grassy area is between the arena and barn (80x30).  That will be the potty area.  Dogs must be on lead at all times.

Will water to hose down the dogs be available?
    A hose will be available.

What other events will take place during the trial?
Not sure yet, but will try to post the State Fair schedule when it becomes available.

Is food available?
It's the State Fair, and food will be available all over the place (cotton candy to corn dogs, french fries to elephant ears...)

How current must my out of state health certificate be?
It must have be dated some time this calendar year.

What about drug testing?
The decision to drug test is made by the judges.  Since the judges are USDAA judges, and drug testing is not a requirement of USDAA, no test will be administered

Can I pay by Check?
    Yes -
make the checks payable to: "State of Michigan"

What time will we start?
    TENTATIVELY
check-in starts a 9:00am and the show starts at 10:00am, but this will be subject to change based on entry size.

Is crating in the shade
It is in a stall barn - You
will not need a tent.

Is the crating area accessible to the general public?
The public will not be allowed to see the crating area.  Crating is in stalls which can be locked.
Spectators will not be allowed in the stalls under any circumstances.

Are bathrooms available?

yes, there will be bathrooms with running water

Can un-entered dogs come?
Yes - dogs must be on lead or crated at all times

Come On, Really, how much is the entry?
Our entry fee in the test schedule really does cover all classess -- one dog three runs, twleve runs, it's still the same low price ($4 for parking per day)

How can you do this so cheap?
Smart money management!  Actually, this show will operate at a loss, but we are trying to demonstrate how spectator friendly agility is.

Can my rabies or heath certificate be a copy?
    Yes
